For music lovers surround sound offers a complete new listening experience. Especially with DVD recordings of live concerts you really feel as if you’re right between the audience because the acoustics of the concert hall is being reproduced in your room in a natural way.
A surround installation has 6 speakers, 5 satellite speakers and a subwoofer. This looks quite a lot and all these technology could potentially ruin your carefully designed interior, but from experience we know that by making the right choices you hardly see them.
Many surround systems aren’t ideal for playing music and there are surround systems that claim to be able to produce true surround sound over just a few speakers.
These are not used by Komforto because they don’t meet our quality standards. In the Komforto concept a surround system is used for multiple purposes. Stereo music and tv-sound get an extra dimension when played over a surround system. And we anticipate on future tv-broadcasts with surround sound.
